Archbishop Damphousse's Visit to the Parish
for the Feast of St. Catherine of Siena
Monday, April 29, 2024 at 7:00 pm
April 29 is the feast day of St. Catherine of Siena, the patron saint of our parish. A parish's patron saint is celebrated with great solemnity in the parish. In order to highlight this event, we will be having a special Mass that evening at 7:00 pm. The Mass will be a sung Mass, and will be followed by a reception in the parish hall.
For the occasion, Archbishop Marcel Damphousse has graciously accepted the invitation of Fr. Shroff and will be the main celebrant of the Mass.
Please mark this date on your calendars! If you would like to sing in the special choir that we are setting up for this Mass, please contact the parish office.
We look forward to seeing you there and to welcoming our Archbishop!
First Communion Masses
May 5 at 2:30 pm AND June 2 at 11:00 am
There will be two First Communions Masses at our parish this year.
Most of the candidates will receive their First Holy Communion on the 6th Sunday of Easter: Sunday, May 5 at 2:30 pm.
A smaller number will make their First Holy Communion on Corpus Christi: Sunday, June 2 at 11:00 am.
Please pray for all those who are preparing to receive Jesus in Holy Communion for the first time at one of these Masses.
