Donations to Our Parish
And a poor widow came, and put in two copper coins, which make a penny. And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury. For they all contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, her whole living.”
Catholics have always been encouraged to donate to their local parish as a way of supporting the parish community and providing for the parish's administrative costs and pastoral, as well as charitable, outreach.
But the primary reason for giving is to grow in Christian virtue and holiness, and to imitate God Himself, who gave us the gift of His Only-Begotten Son.
Our parish provides three ways of donating. You are invited to choose whichever means is the most convenient for you.
Ways you can donate
Drop off a cheque or cash directly to the parish office. Please call first to ensure that the secretary will be in. The office phone number is at the bottom of this page. The cheque can be made out to St. Catherine of Siena Parish.
Mail in a cheque made out to St. Catherine of Siena Parish. Our mailing address is at the bottom of this page. Please make sure to include PO Box 220 in the address.
Donate online via e-transfer. This is the fastest and easiest way to donate. The funds will go straight from your bank account to the parish's account. Simply sign in to your online banking and select e-transfer or internet transfer. Use the parish's e-mail address at the bottom of this page. If a security question is asked for by your bank, please make sure to let us know what the answer is.
